I was born into the business founded by my father,
Max. I took over the reins from Dad in 1990, and have continued
to grow the store with an ever wider variety of unique offerings
of fine jewelry and gifts, all backed up with the personal service
we're so well known for. Besides myself, that personal service is
provided by my competent staff, below, which seems to be growing
along with the store.

Susan and I were married in 1987, and she immediately
became a valuable asset to the business. Susan is primarily responsible
for our expansion into collectible gift items and continues to manage
this area as well as helping in nearly every facet of the business.
All this, and she somehow finds time to be mom and stepmom to our
four children.

Dad got this show rolling way back in 1957, when we were just toddlers running around.
It all started with a certificate from watchmakers school, and determination that never failed all through the years. Dad's wife, my mom, Louise, is a registered nurse. Although never directly involved in the store, she is a source of never-ending, and loving support. Read more about Dad on our History page.

Jewelry Repair
My younger brother Bill entered the business in the
late 70's, showing a natural knack with a jewelers torch. Bill now
manages the jewelry repair department which includes ring sizing,
stone setting, and all manner of jewelry repairs. Under his supervision,
your jewelry is handled with the utmost care giving you peace of
mind.

Melissa Bargar
Sales Associate
My daughter Melissa has grown up in our jewelry store
and is showing a keen interest in jewelry design which she is studying
currently as an art major in college. She is a great help during
school breaks and works part time during school, performing a wide
variety of tasks from customer care to ordering to helping maintain
our web site, and much more.
